I grew up in Montgomery, AL where I played football from ages 4-18, baseball from ages 4-14, and wrestled from ages 11-18. I decided to switch from baseball to soccer in my sophomore year of highschool. I played soccer for 3 years in high school, and then the occasional indoor season with friends from 18 until 20 years old. I fell in love with coaching while coaching wrestling at Lyman Ward Military Academy from ages 19-21.

Fast forward almost 14 years later, and I decided to dedicate my time to helping coach my oldest daughter’s soccer team, while living in Gulf Breeze, FL. Since then I have developed an ever-increasing passion for the game with a real focus on player development. My personal coaching philosophy is predicated off of developing strong, confident and skillful players while also instilling a love of the game through education of the game and integration of “games” into the practice structure. I also believe strongly in open lines of communication between coaches and the parents to ensure all parties are operating towards the same goal. I am active in providing parents with an active role in understanding our training methodology and goals by also sharing reading lists, podcasts, and any other form of media that I often utilize to further refine the creation of training sessions.
